Good to know before your PC repair
Still on Windows 10?
Microsoft ended Windows 10 support in the fall of 2025, so it no longer gets security updates. We can check whether your PC can run Windows 11, upgrade it, or move your files to a new computer.
Back up what matters
Virus cleanups and hardware repairs normally leave your files in place, but a backup to cloud storage such as PCloud or OneDrive or an external drive first is the safest move. If your PC won’t start, tell us and we’ll put your data first.
Bring your charger & password
Bring the laptop’s charger so we can test charging, and your Windows password so we can test everything after the repair.

How long does a virus removal take?
A virus and malware cleanup is done within 1 business day. Our repair queue can affect timing, so we give you an estimate at check-in and keep you updated.
How long does a laptop battery replacement take?
About 24 hours from check-in when the battery is in stock. Less common batteries may need to be ordered, and we’ll tell you the arrival date up front.
Is it worth repairing my old laptop?
Often, yes. An SSD upgrade and a new battery can make an older laptop feel new for far less than a replacement. If it isn’t worth it, we’ll tell you honestly and can move your files to a new PC.
Will I lose my files during a virus removal?
No. We remove the malware and leave your documents, photos and programs in place. If a full Windows reinstall is ever needed, we’ll ask first and back up your files.
What warranty comes with the repair?
When we install new parts (other than OEM parts), the repair carries a lifetime warranty against defects. All other repairs, including genuine and OEM parts, carry a 1-year warranty on parts and labor. Breakage and liquid damage aren’t covered. Read the full warranty policy.
