Keyboard replacement
Missing keys, dead keys and spills. On many Chromebooks the keyboard is part of the top case, which we replace as a unit.

Short battery life or a Chromebook that only runs plugged in.
Charging port
Loose USB-C or barrel charging ports, or a Chromebook that won’t charge at all.

Good to know before your Chromebook repair
School-issued Chromebook?
If your Chromebook belongs to a school, check with the school first. Many districts have their own repair program. We can repair the hardware on school devices, but we can’t remove school management.
Your files are in the cloud
Most Chromebook files live in your Google account, so hardware repairs rarely affect them. Check that anything in the Downloads folder is backed up to Google Drive.
Repair or replace?
Older Chromebooks eventually stop getting ChromeOS updates. If yours is near its end-of-updates date, we’ll tell you before you spend money on a repair.

Can a Chromebook screen be replaced?
Yes. Screen replacement is the most common Chromebook repair we do, including touchscreens on 2-in-1 models.
Do you repair school Chromebooks?
Yes, we can repair the hardware. Check with your school first, since many districts have their own repair program, and note that we can’t remove school management from the device.
Is it worth repairing a Chromebook?
Usually, yes. A screen or keyboard repair costs much less than a new Chromebook. If your model is near the end of its ChromeOS updates, we’ll tell you so you can decide.
Will I lose my files?
Rarely. Most Chromebook files are stored in your Google account. Back up anything in the Downloads folder to Google Drive before your repair.
What warranty comes with the repair?
When we install new parts (other than OEM parts), the repair carries a lifetime warranty against defects. All other repairs, including genuine and OEM parts, carry a 1-year warranty on parts and labor. Breakage and liquid damage aren’t covered. Read the full warranty policy.
