Phone problems we fix
Cracked or unresponsive screen
Shattered glass, chipped edges, black spots, green lines, or a touchscreen that stopped responding after a drop. Screen replacement swaps the entire front glass and display, which fixes all of these when the screen is the only damaged part.
Battery replacement
Dying by lunch, shutting off at 20%, or a swollen battery lifting the screen. A new battery usually takes 2–4 hours with the part in stock. If the battery is swollen it is becoming a fire hazard, so stop charging the phone and bring it in.
Charging port
If your charge cable has to be held at an angle, or the phone won’t charge at all. If it’s a bad port, then repairs typically be in the $130-140 range. But, if it’s dirt or packed lint then the cleaning is usually in the $30-40 range.
Cameras
Blurry or black camera, a shaking lens, or cracked camera glass on the front or rear cameras.
Water damage
Turn the phone off and don’t charge it. Skip the bag of rice, which doesn’t really help or stop corrosion. Bring it in quickly so we can open it, put it in a special dryer, clean the board and check what can be saved.
Back glass, buttons & audio
Cracked back glass, stuck power or volume buttons, quiet earpieces, crackling speakers and microphones callers can’t hear.

How phone repair works
Walk in or book ahead
Walk-ins are welcome Mon–Fri, 10am–6pm. Booking an appointment gets you priority at the time you choose.
Free diagnosis, your choice of parts
We check the whole phone, explain your parts options and give you a firm price and time estimate.
Repaired, tested, ready
We test touch, cameras, speakers, charging and signal before you pick it up. If our queue is busy, we tell you up front and keep you posted.
Before and after your phone repair
Back it up if you can
Most screen, battery and port repairs carry very little risk to your photos and data. A quick iCloud or Google backup before you come in is still the safest move.
Bring your passcode
We use it to test Face ID or the fingerprint sensor, the touchscreen, cameras and calls after the repair, so you leave knowing everything works.
Protect it afterward
Drops and liquid aren’t covered by any repair warranty. A good case and screen protector are the cheapest insurance, and we carry Mobile Outfitters screen protection in the shop.
Phone repair FAQs
How long does a phone screen or battery replacement take?
With the part in stock, a screen or battery replacement usually takes 2–4 hours from check-in. Our repair queue can affect timing, so we give you an estimate up front and keep you updated as the repair moves along.
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk-ins are welcome. Booking an appointment gets you priority at the time you choose.
How much does phone repair cost?
It depends on your model, the repair and the part you choose. Starting prices are listed above, and our instant quote estimator gives a price for your exact phone. We confirm it in writing after a free diagnosis.
Is there a discount if my phone needs more than one repair?
Yes. Because the phone is already open, a second repair done in the same visit is discounted, typically $30 off.
Will I lose my photos or data?
Most repairs carry very little risk to your data. We still recommend backing up to iCloud or Google first. If a repair does put data at risk, we tell you before we start.
My touchscreen stopped working after a drop. Is that a screen repair?
Usually, yes. The touch layer is part of the screen assembly, and a drop can damage it even when the glass doesn’t look badly cracked. Replacing the screen fixes it. We confirm during the free diagnosis.
My glass is only chipped at the edge. Do I need a full screen replacement?
Yes. On modern phones the glass is bonded to the display, so a screen repair replaces the whole front glass and display together. If the screen is the only problem, that fully fixes it.
What warranty comes with a phone repair?
When we install new parts (other than OEM parts), the repair carries a lifetime warranty against defects. All other repairs, including genuine and OEM parts, carry a 1-year warranty on parts and labor. Drops, cracks and liquid damage aren’t covered. Read the full warranty policy.
Is it worth repairing my phone or should I replace it?
A screen or battery repair usually costs far less than a new phone. If your phone has several problems or no longer gets software updates, we’ll tell you honestly if replacing it makes more sense.
